as a College Admissions Assistant, a professional restaurant and party magician and a gallery artist. After getting his BA at Bard College Matt moved to Philadelphia where he underwent a hands-on dog training and behavior consultation program with the head trainer at Proper Paws, a top Philadelphia dog training company. Matt’s training included workshops, lectures and assisted training with a wide variety of dog breeds and temperaments.  Matt worked as a full time trainer helping create great relationships between dogs and owners in  Center City Philadelphia. Matt is an avid reader of the science of dog behavior and attends seminars and lectures with the industry's leading professionals. He has a love of bringing his passion and positive outlook to others. Matt created Tuff Pup Training, LLC because he wished to bring to other dog owners the joy he has obtained from his relationship with his own dog Molly. Matt works with shelters, vets, dog walkers and other dog training professionals to bring the best and most current dog advice to his clients. Matt is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Matt trains over 20 dogs each week privately and is contracted by other local dog trainers to teach a variety of group classes and run puppy play groups (which he loves).
